It’s exciting to see Rivian ramping up production and rolling out new models, especially at lower price points that could drive higher sales volumes. But that’s also where I see a big challenge ahead—how will service keep up with the demand? The R1 feels more like a boutique vehicle, with a...
I gave up on Roomy entry/exit a long time ago. And recently for unknown reasons it lost my seat, mirror and logged me out of Alexa. Still trying to find my perfect seat position that I had dialed in just right. 😠
TBH, if I hadn't watched Charlie and Ewan's Long Way Up back in 2020 I wouldn't have known about the company. Reserved mine in early 21. Fortunately, I got my $$$ back from Fisker. 😅
In the 2 years with my R1S I've had a few parking lot encounters with that same question "is it Chinese?" I go on with my standard reply: "No, its American, Rivian, all electric, etc... (insert blank stare)". "Have you seen the new Amazon trucks?" (That usually rings a bell). "Rivian makes...
I didn't write this, I don't follow facebook and maybe old news but didn't see it posted here...
We talk so much about EV range, performance specs, and software updates, but how often do we think about the actual air we’re breathing inside these machines? Turns out, one Rivian R1T owner did...
Not knowing the backstory and assuming the R1S was stopped at the stop bar when the impact occurred it was pushed forward roughly 1/2 a car length. Hard to see if there are any skid marks from the tires to tell if the Rivian driver was on the brakes bracing for impact or not. But I'd be...
The last update definitely borked Alex in my truck.
I thought she was intentionally ignoring me the first few times I asked what time I'll get to work. Then I realized she's being unusually quiet in her often-wrong guesses. LOL
We have the same two vehicles an R1S and MB EQB. I have the Rivian charger hardwired to a 60A breaker, and set to 48A and 70% charge. Since we really don't drive the EQB more than 10-20 miles a day I just use the 120V cable that came with the Mercedes and leave it plugged in all the time...
FWIW, I lost 48 miles of range in 46 hours of use during the power outage. We only had to unplug the refrigerator when using a countertop induction burner. Otherwise worked fantastic and no worries about loosing the food in the fridge!
Worked perfectly for two days after the hurricane until power was restored. I just set the timer in the truck and was careful not to overload the circuit. Plugged in the fridge, router, wifi and a few small lamps.
Add this to the list. A few years ago, I had just bought my car and less than 900 miles on it. Parked way out in no man's land. My mistake... the parking spot was downhill, and I came back to find a shopping cart right in the middle of the driver's side door, What the #$%^!!! To top it off...
Lol, not that truck. There was a local news reporter that walked past a Tesla. Part of the frunk was still intact and the frames of the headrests were Tesla for sure. Don't know if it made the rounds on FB yet.
