Sorry I left out some critical information. Yes I'm using the fuse tap. I think at the time it was an optional purchase. I'm connected in with Lukas harness and fusetap. The Comma is on the Beartech mount. At first I'd get suspension warnings, but the last update started getting me into turtle...
@gerrylum or @LivingInKaos - There was a note in the installation guide, "As of July 2025, Lukas’ harness does not use AXM power and includes a fuse tap. Skip this section if your harness from Lukas included a fuse tap."
I received my Xnor harness in August 2025. I've noticed suspension...
350 kW chargers look amazing. Although, I don't think I would be in and out of Costco in under 20 minutes. I actually think 50 kW chargers are the sweet spot for retail.
Having some L2 options in any of the resort parking lots would be nice as well. I mean if you're skiing or riding the whole day, might as well charge and not worry too much about overage fees. A lot of Colorado resorts will have L2. They don't even have to go all out and install a charger, just...
Anyone have any good recommendations for models with a good follow distance in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I installed my Comma 3X last week with the lukas harness and it's been much better so far in terms of lane keeping. I'm still getting used to the longitudinal capabilities. I had a trip...
I got super lucky. Customs didn't catch my order. I received mine 10 days ago. I just ordered a BearTech Magnetic mount and it's shipping from Canada, so hopefully it doesn't get flagged.
My reg fees were much higher at $975, but my insurance is much lower. I pay about $1,620 for insurance. Full tank of gas is like $137 on GMC 1500. Full L2 charge is $30.72.
I did this trip (OC/LA to Mammoth) back in March after the big storm. Deep charged in Bishop going up the hill and I had about 70% left. Had about 5% discharge overnight. I was tempted to get a cabin with an EV charger, but I felt I could plan well enough not to need it. Next day, went...
It depends if the sock aggregates snow. The sock works because essentially snow on snow is your traction. Socks work on icy conditions as well under the same principle where you have snow contact with the ice. I assume studs will outperform on ice as well since the studs are digging into the ice.
No one has done DCFC better than Tesla in the United States. It's just better ergonomics. CCS in Europe has been very successful, but the U.S. implementation of CCS is so bad.
The fact you're in such fear of Elon Musk is as bad as the obsession he craves. Chill out. It's just a connector.
It's unlikely to get stolen. I'm worried about a road trip with my bike and have considered this because a crook will have to bring a ladder in addition to their angle grinder.
