I really think it’s driving habits. I have 30k on the oem 20” scorpions. Only reason I’m getting new tires is the unbelievable noise they are making. I do rotate every 7500 miles. Also I try and use conserve on highways when dry. Keep ride height in normal. Getting the Michelin defender LT/X...

So my question is similar, but I already have the 20" Nokian Hakkapelittas snows (they are so nice and quiet and have amazing traction). Removed the old stock Pirellis due to noise. Now that its spring I need...
I have had good luck with just turning off the gear guard and manually turning off the climate. Even in VT in cold temps and forgoing power for a couple of days, I found very little drain. Seems to go to sleep. That said, I haven't left it for a week, so the long-term drain is unknown.
Have not mounted the Nokian's yet. Trying to wear down the scorpions until mid december. Still seeing 70 degree days here on east coast. They are not studded due to the amount of highway milage I will be doing. Expecting they will be less efficient, but monsters in the snow and ice. Very heavy...
Ok, I know this thread is not new, but I'm deciding my future tire plan. I currently have the 20" wheels with the PIRELLI SCORPION ALL TERRAIN PLUS... As we all know, they produce the most annoying noise after 15k + miles. I recently bought the NOKIAN HAKKAPELIITTA LT3 for the winter (heard very...
Hi, I am trying to verify with NJCP&L the Rivian Chargers Manufacturer, model, charger type, and network to see if it is eligible for rate credits. Do you know if anyone has done this before? I saw some threads that Wall Box may manufacture it, but I am not sure.
BTW, Rivian gave me this info...
Very similar experience with my R1S. Almost identical. I took it to a "Rivian" approved body shop and go a similar quote. I was furious and called Rivian. They put me in touch with one of their accident team members. They worked with me with another body shop. The cost went below 10k. Rivian is...
I was visiting a friends house in VT and wanted to just see the truck at current level during a cold night and plugged into their 120v outlet. Apparently they have a "smart house" with the electrical switches tied together. When the Rivian charger was plugged in to an outlet in the garage, it...
Hi All fellow NJ Rivian owners,
I received my license plates and registration through Rivian via mail. That all worked out great for me. However, I'm surprised I didn't get a window sticker with it. I know EV's are not required to go to MV for inspection, but thought we needed a sticker to show...
oh thanks. But I actually like it not opening ever time I pass it. Like it that I can tap it and it wakes up.
I believe its the security system waking up.
Not sure if anyone else has this experience when using the iPhone app to unlock truck. The truck goes to sleep, but it you approach it and tap on the door, car will wake up and unlock. I find I just walk up to it, Tap on the panel and it unlocks. LMK if anyone else finds this useful.
Agree with this comment. I got the 20’s as I plan to drive in snow. 20’s give the most choices down the road and road noise is not bad. Mileage is ok too.
