Just picked up R1S dual max. My wheels are 22’s with Pirelli Scorpions. Does anyone know of a great real all season so I don’t have to change out tires summer and winter? I am in Colorado and drive lots of summer and winter miles in the mountains.

Welcome, @dpt
Here are a couple links to get you started, but there are others you can find with a search:

I'm also in Colorado and struggled with this decision. After two winters with 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake rated all-terrain tires, I've had too many white knuckle moments in snow, including getting stuck once and needing my recovery boards (although it was 22" to 24" deep). I finally concluded that 7500 pounds of vehicle imparts too much momentum for Colorado snow covered roads, especially on hills. I ended up buying a set of Nokian Hakkapeliittas snow tires on separate rims. I'm glad I did....these tires give me outstanding snow traction.

So my question is similar, but I already have the 20" Nokian Hakkapelittas snows (they are so nice and quiet and have amazing traction). Removed the old stock Pirellis due to noise. Now that its spring I need to change from the snow tires to a more mileage-friendly tire. I coud just put on the 20" Michelin Defender LTX M/S2, or I could move to a 22" Michelin Defender LTX M/S2.

So the question is...will I see a considerable difference in mileage going from 20" to 22" wheels (same tires)?
