Cargo Tray & Spare Tire

For those who have the spare tire, does the cargo tray still fit on top of the spare?

I'm asking because I'm thinking about purchasing a spare, but curious if I have to sacrifice the useful tray.

If you are talking about space saver spare for the R1S, yes, the cargo floor will still fit over it.

OK, I misunderstood. But page 403 in your Owner Guide, if gen2, suggests it does fit over the spare. Instruction "d".

Silly me, I should have thought about the owner's manual. I forget we have it because I'm used to a physical book that sits inside a glove box. I was looking at the photos on the gear shop and it didn't provide any details on the cargo tray.

I appreciate your investigations to help me out.

Also did not receive with my 2025 Dual Large delivered in Feb. Not sure if it still comes with Tri.

My understanding is that you only get the tray now if you order the spare tire. I was able to salvage mine from my wrecked Gen 1 and use it in my Gen2.

Negative. I purchased the spare tire and...no tray.

Same, ordered the spare kit after taking delivery of a Gen 2 and did not get a storage tray.

I'm bummed as it addresses organization for the remaining space left over after installation. Right now, my tire chains and a few other odds and ends are just packed in on and around the spare.

my suspicion is only tri's or quad's (if they ever release) will get the tray. "Well worth the extra few thousand dollars" is what someone apparently uttered in a Rivian product planning meeting.
