Do you folks have a black out cover for the R1S glass roof? Something that blocks heat and light.

What are the salient differences compared to the factory version?
I own a Rivian cover and, from what I can tell, this one seems to have a few advantages. Maybe Rivian changed their design since I got ours around June of 2023, but this is what I noticed from the pictures.

1. The end flap or tail piece is covered in what looks like vinyl or something similar compared to the fabric covering the Rivian one. The fabric is hard to keep clean, especially since…

2. The Rivian cover lacks a clear grab point like this one has so you have to grab the fabric-wrapped piece when extending and retracting

3. The Rivian end or tail piece is very rigid and tends to stick straight out when retracted against the roller. This means that if you have a lot of tall cargo in back, the cover has to be taken out completely or taken out, rotated 90°, and put back in so the end or tail points straight down. This one looks like the end or tail has some give and if cargo got near it then it would point down without having to reorient or remove the cover. This is only an issue for bulky but lightweight cargo since it probably is best to remove the cover if there is risk of something heavy slamming into it.

This looks like a nice product to me and if anything happened to my Rivian cover I’d get one of these for my next one.

edit:formatting & typo

@SoCal Rob You speculated correctly. The EV Sportline R1S cargo cover hangs down at about 70-80 degrees when retracted.
I also like having a handle on the cover. The product fits and works perfectly.

So, I received mine awhile ago and never left a new comment: It is as they say it is. Works great and saved coin over the Rivian version.

Does the rear portion stay horizontal or does it always drop down? Seems like it'll leave a few inches uncovered near the rear?

rear edge drops / folds down. But with tailgate closed, you cant 'see' in the end, no way.
