Same. Just did a soft reset -- which is something I haven't done since owning the car for well over a year. That seemed to fix it too. I have also noticed a weird issue with Apple Music where suddenly songs would play part way and get stuck with the timeline going to 0:00 --- 0:00 for the song...
I was told it was a factory flag and not something the car was complaining about. Either way, my first mobile service was brilliant. Quick, on time, and with no time taken out of my day.
Agreed. Mobile service was amazing for my R1S. I was prompted to get this done sooner than later because of the Tighten Hub to Knuckle Fasteners "customer satisfaction campaign". In addition, I had visor mirror lights that did not work since day one. Oddly, what was added to my list was a new...
Not the s00nish. It replaces the entire pad native to the Rivian and uses the same plug. It has electronics on it to allow it to convert that plug into what is needed for the off-the-shelf pucks.
I love my https://shop.tesla.com/product/universal-wall-connector. $550 and you can provision it yourself - though the Tesla software isn't the greatest experience on this front. You do need a professional to get it wired in, but I wouldn't go any other way. You get NACS and J1772 at the same...
Santiago Tello did an amazing job. Can't tell the dent was ever there. He did need to drill an access hole in the door edge, but obviously he covered it up well, and you cannot see it when the door is closed. Better than taking the door apart. It took him probably less than 30 minutes.
How did their work turn out? I asked a similar question in this forum not finding this thread before doing so: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/any-good-paint-less-dent-removal-shops-you-can-recommend.30127/
Though this one is for North/Central Jersey I would be willing to travel if I could get this one out. It is not a huge dent, but it is on the driver's side door crease. It is probably a common area in general for issues and I know nothing about the Rivian (R1S) being special about this type of...
I should have said the main screen went black. The driver’s display still had partial functionality - I think - but when this happens for the first time it is brain overload.
I guess on a positive note the “natural” soft reboot worked. Unlike my experience in a Range Rover HSE where you would...
Just happened with my R1S today. I was pulling into a business and the sound I was streaming from my iPhone went out. I thought I was getting a call but shortly thereafter the screen went black. I expected the car to die but it remained 100% controllable. I pulled into a parking spot and while I...
My problem wasn't the IDs but rather the first set of questions. There were either typos in them - so were they right or wrong? Or they walked a gray line between business and past vs current. I got punched out for getting one wrong out of 5 however many times the system would let you try. Then...
