Hello all.
With all the subpar service experiences and frustration in other posts, I just wanted to post this.
It hasn't all been plain sailing with our R1S, but today I had a positive experience with the mobile service. Nothing to complain about.
The technician was professional, clean and presentable, offered us the opportunity to have the service earlier in the morning, not afternoon/evening which was brilliant. He kept us informed of his estimated delivery time and identified himself when arrived, although the R1T parked outside with "Mobile Service Vehicle" written on the side gave him away.
He listened to our complaint/the reason we called him and went straight to work. He then ensured we didn't need to go anywhere for the next hour, and replaced the 12 volt battery, without us asking him or Rivian.
I know people are experiencing a lot of issues, 12 volt battery included, but I thought it was honorable for Rivian to preemptively replace the 12 Volt part before it caused us an issue.
We also have a diesel GMC that had an injector failure (one of six) three weeks ago (31k miles). GMC replaced the failed injector only. Now I am waiting for one of the others to fail and be stranded again. (I swear I should have bought a Tundra).
That's it.
Stay safe and keep it between the ditches, unless you are going offroad on purpose.
