Heat was very weak prior to the most recent update. It improved a little but I still find the heater weak as compared to my prior Teslas. Living in Florida it's not a big problem for me but I can understand how folks living in colder climates are struggling with it.

Has anyone noticed improvements after the latest update? I haven't had much time to listen carefully and mess with the EQ settings post update but in the little time I've had in the car since the update the sound stage sounds more balanced to me.

My $15 mounting solution, referenced in this thread, has been working perfectly for me. I recommend it.

I was showing my R1S to a friend's father yesterday and he asked where it was made. When I told him Normal, IL he was a little surprised and assumed it was made somewhere outside the USA. When I asked why, he didn't really have a reason he just didn't think USA first. Made me wonder if Rivian...

Try the different EQ settings posted here, they help a lot. Rivian acknowledged the audio issues and committed to improving them in future SW releases.

Been traveling to Austin, TX for the past 20 years and have noticed in this last trip a huge boom in the number of Rivians on the roads. Haven't seen so many in any other city. Really cool to see.

I had to turn the bass down some on my prior eq settings after this new update. Center front channel was cracking a fair amount at about volume 22 playing Tiesto the business.

Gas station needs gas and electricity. Charging station just needs electricity.

I had this issue once in the 3 weeks I've owned my Gen2 R1S but it hasn't reoccurred. I also had to wake the car using the frunk button.
