Just wanted to share that GPS tracking on my R1S is noticeably smoother and more reliable now—definitely an improvement.
That said, I’m still struggling to find the alternative routes option, which I rely on all the time—especially living in the land of tolls. I often use it to decide whether a...
As a software product manager, I genuinely believe Rivian’s biggest limitation right now isn’t hardware. It’s the software stack. If I released a product with this level of instability, I’d only do so under a “beta” label with clear disclaimers.
In the past few weeks, I’ve experienced multiple...
Thank you—that’s exactly what I was hoping to confirm! It really helps to hear from someone who’s done real-world comparisons. Sounds like I can confidently select a trailer that better fits my lifestyle and livability needs, rather than compromising on space just for the sake of saving...
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following this thread and watching countless YouTube videos, and one thing keeps standing out—it seems like the size and weight of a travel trailer doesn't impact range as much as I originally thought, especially when towing at 60 mph. Most of the range numbers I’m seeing...
Hey everyone,
This thread has been super helpful.
I’m looking at getting my first travel trailer and could really use some advice to make sure I’m staying within safe towing limits—especially around weight and tongue load. As I'm learning more I'm worried the travel trailer I finally settled...
Thanks for the detailed response — super helpful!
It’ll be me, my wife, our two teenage boys, and a 65 lb dog tagging along. We'll be camping almost exclusively at places with full hookups, so we’re not planning to do any serious off-grid adventures (at least not yet).
Since the boys are in...
I'm hoping to get some insight before committing to a travel trailer. I’ve been leaning toward the Grand Design 2400BH, but most of the destinations we’re interested in are around 300 miles away—primarily flat, Midwest driving. I’ll be towing with a 2024 Rivian R1S Quad, and based on what I’ve...
I have OC and the steering wheel color bothers me even after all these months. Like others have said you will start to ignore it but for me it's an eye sore.
I was told only when you replace the entire mirror assembly, replacing a mirror shouldn't need any calibration. Though even replacing the mirror assembly I'm not 100% sure on that if it's like for like.
I did the same, I was able to piece it back together so it's not obvious. You can pick one up on eBay but I was told by a Rivian service tech that it will need to be recalibrated which Rivian may or may not due since the part wasn't purchased from them or one of their authorized service repair...
Rivian has finally delivered my official NACS Adapter!
However, I already bought one months ago for a road trip, so this one is brand new and unused.

Thankfully it wasn't anything serious but that is funny. I've been in those a few times when I'm out in Phoenix and thankfully each time was uneventful.
