    Yes this is an interesting development. @DonkeyKong when are you picking up? This whole process is going much slower than I expected. I was hoping to be in Atlanta checking out the R2/R3 while picking up my R1S but I guess the earliest will be mid/late next week.

    I was told no POS rebate on the demo. I did get the $3750 rebate on my previous 23 and Rivian provided the IRS (and me) tax docs so I feel Rivian are pretty organized and thorough.

    Stellantis. Jeep makes the worst ADAS. Toyota's Safety Sense isn't great either but 3.0 supposedly is solid. BlueCruise is vastly better than Tesla's AP.

    No thanks Tesla AP and FSD - which are terrible and disengage too often. I dislike Driver+ also (for the same disengagement reasons) and think Rivian should license out HDA or BlueCruise.

    It took almost 2 years before the $30K+ markups for the Hummer EV disappeared. Chevy/GM can't produce non-Bolt EVs at scale and you will have the take it up the butt to buy one from a dealer.

    I was told summer of 2024 is when they should arrive and pricing has not changed (I was expecting maybe a cut since P3 was recently cut). I'm torn about the 3rd row. EX90 is both bigger and smaller than I expected. I was hoping it would be on the larger side (interior-wise) of a 3-row SUV.

    R1T/R1S biggest issue is the combination of poor efficiency (2.1 mi/kWh) and slow 400V charging. I hated road tripping with my former R1S... charging stops were 40+ mins. I'd charge a whole lot less if the R1S had 3.0 mi/kWh efficiency which I don't think is possible. Even 2.5 mi/kWh would...

    That's Carvana for you. You can sell the R1S instantly at $80K I suspect. I had half-dozen offers at $80K Many of us are not eligible for the EV tax credit which is why I would prefer to lease.

    Rivian service was excellent. Today, buying any new car is just as risky as buying a Rivian. Depreciation is back to normal. Oversupply seems to be common. QC is still iffy on new cars/models across the board.
