  1. Pebble Flow Electric RV Trailer - My First Journey Towing With R1T

Do you happen to be near Great Basin National Park at the moment? My gf and I drove up from Vegas yesterday ans stayed overnight at a place with these cabins near Garrison, UT. Then this AM we drove up through Baker, NV we saw a red R1T and a green Pebble parked at this little RV site near at...
  2. Towing a 19' R-POD with a 2022 Quad R1T, a sobering expereince

I tow a 2500 lb Casita regularly. 65 mph highway cruise. 1.3-1.4 routine Miles/kWH. When i’m in the country/rural areas doing 60 i get 1.5-1.6. Doing 55 i get 1.7-1.8. 70 mph i think is really killing your efficiency. Nice Rpod. My buddy had one for a few years before he upgraded to a single...
  3. Austin to Anchorage in my R1T [trip updates coming]

are you going thru mountains? at elevation your tire pressure will increase. so if you got a lot of miles thru mountains consider watching the tire pressure and adjusting to stay at 49 PSI when cold.
  4. Gen 2 cast subframe replacement (for failed welds on front subframe) - now like a new truck!

id get it done. Alignment or not the newer subframe is a more durable design.
  5. Gen 2 cast subframe replacement (for failed welds on front subframe) - now like a new truck!

I've had my R1T since Sept 2022, VIN 14xxx, about 21K miles to date. Since new, the alignment/steerign feel was never correct. The SC has done 4 alignments, 1 steering wheel replacement, and still the truck always steered right. Left declination = struck drove straight. Right declincation = hard...
  6. Alpha 2 RTT on R1T - Easy Install

The camper I have is a Camp365. It’s light, folds up and down quickly, and is super aero (which was the biggest thing for me towing in the R1T). It’s a cool concept and I’ve very much enjoyed it this past summer. Looking forward to the next season!
  7. Alpha 2 RTT on R1T - Easy Install

I’ve been very happy with the Alpha 2! I got out maybe 5 weekends this summer with just the tent. I also ended up getting a super aerodynamic camper trailer and have used them both all summer (5 additional weekends with both). TBH I don’t think the Alpha 2 impacts range noticeably. My lifetime...
  8. Camping (gear and range) Review in my R1T

For induction pans, I’d recommend checking out the Stanley stainless packable camp cookware. They are durable, packs into the largest pot. Works with gas, fire, or induction. I got the set this spring to use with either my trusty Coleman propane or a single induction cooktop with the Rivian 120v...
  9. Silverado 450 Miles of Range

the EA stations at Walmart are typically in a corner of the parking lot, away from where most people park. I drove my R1T from Chicago to West Palm Beach and back to buy a Camp365 travel trailer. I never had to drop the trailer at any of the Walmarts and no one had any issues with my trailer...
  10. Alpha 2 RTT on R1T - Easy Install

i think mounting it as intended will be better for range. The reason is the R1T spoiler on the back of the cab. It funnels air over the bed. If the thinner side of the RTT is behind the cab (intended install), the airflow from the spoiler hits the *top* of the RTT shell (smoother airflow). If...
  11. Alpha 2 RTT on R1T - Easy Install

The tent has been great! Materials and functionality are all well done. It takes a few times opening and closing the tent to pick up a few tips and tricks - mostly the flow of tucking in any tent material as the hard shell closes fully. But it’s fast and easy. The mattress is firm, not memory...
  12. Alpha 2 RTT on R1T - Easy Install

I've been following as many R1T posts as I can find about the variety of RTTs that fit nicely over the small truck bed. I looked at the usual suspects (iKamper, Roofnest) and decided on the Alpha 2 from Tuff Stuff Overland (TSO). I didn't see the value (personally speaking) to spend $1K more for...
  13. Clicking at low speed, loud humming at high speed

Hi. I have this exact same issue. I've got about 5K miles. It started happening over winter, after the New Year. It was faint at first and now seems to have level off (not getting worse). I've been driving mostly in Conserve (front wheel mode) since it's for sure related to the rear motors or...
  14. Steering Wheel Not Centered

It’s day 2 and not sure when will be done. I’m out of town for the weekend so the timing was good for me to have it in the SC.
  15. Steering Wheel Not Centered

Same here since day 1. About 10 degree left steering input requires to drive straight. Left or right crown, centered. Road conditions don’t matter it always pulls to the right. Had it aligned at my SC before the holiday. Road trip from Chicago to MI and back and it’s … worse than before. When...
  16. Sizing it up.. my power cooler arrived.. ICECO GO20 Dual Zone

12v dc is a little more efficient than AC. When using AC to power you have to use the AC to DC charger converter which results in less efficiently due to the AC charger heat loss (converting AC to DC).
  17. Roadtrip! Portland OR to Northern Wisconsin.

up for some camping? In northern WI the chargers are few. I just got land up in Mercer WI and will build in a few years and put a Rivian wall charger in the garage. when my Rivian comes (Oct-Nov this year) I will most likely need to camp at the one RV campsite in town to get a suitable overnight...
  18. Truck goes into park when I am in reverse

Funny lol. But tbh I doubt the type of American too fat to lift their ass off a seat are the same people buying R1Ts and going camping lmao.
