  1. Delivery updates coming on July 15

Has anyone heard any updates related to North Carolina deliveries? I'm seeing more around me in Charlotte but the continual "Processing" status hasn't changed, nor have I seen any state legislation updates either that might be more B2C EV friendly....
  2. Delivery Estimate Updates Are Out! ā±ļø [as of Jan 31, 2022]

Ok thatā€™s a fair point. I wish they would be more transparent about servicing. If thatā€™s the issue what workarounds exist. Would we have to pay for towing, etc
  3. Delivery Estimate Updates Are Out! ā±ļø [as of Jan 31, 2022]

Until the change legislation in NC itā€™s not likely to change. I wouldnā€™t blame Rivian as much as our state government blocking them
  4. šŸ”® Estimated Delivery Date Window is LIVE! What’s Yours?! šŸ”®

In regards to having a non dealership network or whatever the case is in place? Yeah I remember hearing about that awhile back. I assumed they would just keep delivering from further away. Hope this doesnā€™t mean Iā€™m in 2025ā€¦
  5. šŸ”® Estimated Delivery Date Window is LIVE! What’s Yours?! šŸ”®

Processing for me, sucks since Iā€™ve seen a couple R1Ts in the area - Iā€™m in Charlotte NC Which feels like a prime spot for an east coast service center. In the mean time I have a unicorn in the Lightning Pro Iā€™m driving.. just need to keep it under 200 Milesā€¦
  6. Rivian to offer Binding Purchase Agreements (to help obtain EV tax credit)

thank you, just trying to simplify all this. I get that its confusing, but I think the easiest way to think about it is that everyone who signs a BPA will be eligible for $7500 (assuming it doesn't get nix'd by the government)...if you don't, then you have to hope you get delivery before end of...
  7. Rivian to offer Binding Purchase Agreements (to help obtain EV tax credit)

I'm reading through this whole thread and there seems to be alot of concern about the $80k limit but if you're signing a binding purchase agreement, that would be to lock in the 2022 tax treatment, in which case neither your income, nor your purchase price, are relevant...correct?
  8. R1S (vs R1T) Exterior Walkaround Video by TFL

I couldnā€™t agree more. I think thatā€™s why the silver looks so good too, cause it blends in. No matter what color you go with, thatā€™s gotta go. I think it Accentuates the length in all the wrong ways. Makes you think youā€™re looking at a suburban even though the wheel base is shorter than the r1t
  9. Dogs in back seat…

I like the idea of capping off the top of the storage bin too. Maybe a drop in piece that fits right in almost like an upside down bread baking tin or something. A dog bed could sit on that. I imagine reconfiguring the rear seats would be too challenging for Rivian to do anytime soon
  10. Dogs in back seat…

That Thats pretty cool. Seems like the consensus is just to keep the hammock in. I would just have liked the clean look of flipped seats and if I needed them for passengers, easy enough to flip back down. The hammock ends up being a pain to take in and out and doesnā€™t look nearly as good as the...
  11. Dogs in back seat…

Yeah thatā€™s a great point on door access, hadnā€™t considered that and it makes sense although I also donā€™t know the logistics of creating a hinge that expands further out to allow the door to swing wide. It sounds crazy but for an ā€œadventure crowdā€, many of whom have dogs, this feels like a very...
  12. Dogs in back seat…

I agree and the hammocks are fine if thatā€™s your only option but I never understood the storage area idea. My f150folds up and thereā€™s a storage box bolted onto the floor if I want so I get the best of both. Those hinges look cheap too, I agree. the hinge situation is annoying too because that...
  13. Dogs in back seat…

Has anyone come up with any thoughts or solutions to the fold forward rear seats? Iā€™m so bullish on the rivian but so disappointed that they use the really useless Tacoma-style fold forward seat design. One of The best parts of the Jeep Gladiator and my f150 is that their rear seat folds upward...
