This is cool. I wont't lose sleep over it or get that excited. I use the RAN network maybe a couple times a year at this point and I dont really know anyone in my bubbles that is looking to get a Rivian any time soon. But its low hanging fruit to help out so lets go!

What are Rivian Rewards?
All US-based* Rivian owners have a personalized referral code found in their
Account and the profile of their Rivian app.

When someone uses an owner’s referral code during checkout of a qualifying R1 Shop vehicle, then takes delivery – both the original owner (referrer) and new owner (referee) get rewards!

• 750 points** that can be redeemed in Gear Shop or R1 Shop (1 point equals 1 dollar in credit)
• 6 months of charging at Rivian Adventure Network sites (up to a lifetime limit of three years)

That is a big fat Yawn from me. Where is the benefit for the person getting the referral, ie. a financial incentive, even if only $500 or something like that. I don't see this being wildly successful. Who is going to refer 25 people.....?

I'd post my code too but with my luck 25 people would use it and I'd be stuck on a sweet weekend with a bunch of influencers ?. No offense meant, please keep up the testing and reviews, I'm just... camera shy.

I wonder if this will be expanded to smaller things like test drives given for 5 points etc.
Or gamified for some of the things we track here like widest spread elevation each month. Etc.

I wish this had existed before I helped facilitate the purchase/leasing of three R1Ts as a business this year (for a total of four, including the Launch Edition my father has had since June of '22). I'm about to find out if it works on a Demo truck that someone I shared the demo store with is in the process of purchasing—I'm guessing it won't? We'll see!

Just got my Gen2 and am loving it and the Rivian community so far! Did a road trip from IL to WI as soon as I took delivery and using the RAN charger was great (albeit a bit pricey).

Would love to take advantage of the free charging since I travel to WI and OH often (and a Canada trip soon)! Also would definitely snag some cargo crossbars from the Gear Shop.
