Nope, they don't. Several others and I on this forum have just removed the plastic. Some followed the video instructions to make the cut outs, but if you take it out into some dirt/mud it fills up with or without holes. You really can't tell they aren't there unless you look underneath.

What you're describing is Highway Assist. Driver+ is a suite of features which includes Highway Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Just an FYI for those in Michigan - You can get a ticket for having this on the front driver/passenger side windows, except for the top 4 inches. That aside, cool offering. Always like what @twraps comes up with and the stuff I've got has installed pretty easily.
