    Wish me luck. Will report back. Set is on the way and will be mounted on my Martians early next week. Have a camping trip to the mountains over the holiday weekend so will put them to the test and update here.

    Anyone tried using starboard or starlite used for boats? Can buy it in black and cut to size. About to get delivery and just found out it’s missing the tonneau … of course … so now have to make something temporary on a $90k truck. 😂 stuff we do ….

    Yeah. I have had issues with MD after me for unisured vehicle that was stripped down for restoration and off the road. At this point I had to give my lawyer a heads up on it. If I get hit with fines because of it, I am in for a fight with Rivian.

    You got it. Latest version of software installed. While Gear Guard is supposed to be off “home”, this loss makes me think that the setting in inop and Gear Guard is still on since the loss is similar to what I had few weeks ago when the truck was at the airport for a few days.

    New test in progress. Updated to new software. This time parked in my home garage at home address se in truck’s nav. Gear Guard ON but SHOULD not be running per home address. (I suspect it’s actually still on). 9 days later. Started cold and charged to 70% and 205 miles of range appx. Day 9...

    I just got the snowboard rack from Rivian and the attachments to crossbars and standard off the shelf. So the same “clamps” as on the fatcat and other racks will work just fine. The crossbars aren’t that unique in that case.

    Doesn’t worry me too much yet. And likely just needs some optimization on what’s running in the background. I am going to do this again in a week or two after I get home with gearguard off. Maybe those sensors and cameras drain good bit.
