Yeah, I do. They reached out and gave me the option. Said it would add a week or so to the lead time, so expecting it to ship next week or shortly thereafter.
Kudos to DCE for listening to customer feedback on the logo, and even more for going the extra mile to reach out to existing orders to give us the option to choose the smaller logo design if we prefer it. Excellent customer service!
FWIW, I had the same experience in my wife's BMW X7 around 18 months where I was convinced there was some inherent issue with the glass after going through two windshields in two months. No problems since. We were just unlucky or the rocks were exceptionally lucky, depending on your perspective.
Nope, not yet. Still haven’t been able to get a straight answer about whether my truck has the updated ride height sensors installed, but I haven’t tried all that hard to find out yet.
I currently have both the Hummer EV and the R1T and I'm agonizing over which one to keep. They're both awesome in entirely different ways. I'll admit that I didn't expect to like the Hummer as much as I do, but if they had the same resale price I would probably choose the Hummer over the Rivian...
This is great to know. I'm in NC as well and took delivery on May 28th and there's been no progress on registration. Reached out to my guide earlier this week and they sent me a self-registration package that will get here tomorrow. Glad to hear it was pretty painless since I'll be doing the...
Wonder what volume they’d need to get to that price point. Starting to be enough R1Ts out there that a group buy because at least remotely plausible.
Another random data point. I charged to 70% and unplugged my truck last Wednesday before going on a trip. Truck has been sitting in my garage since then and is at 62% right now after roughly 5 days so I'm losing around 1.6% per day. That seems to track pretty well with what other folks are...
For the record, my accessories showed up today, 16 days after I took delivery. Seems to fit with the general roughly 2 weeks trend that most people are reporting.
I got the cargo bars (which are awesome), the field kit, and the all weather floor mats.
Yes, this happened to me (twice) when there were issues between production and delivery. In the first case, my R1T was on a truck that got turned around and sent back to the factory for an unspecified issue. On the second it failed QC and sat at the end of the line for 10 days before they gave...
I answered the question for myself on Saturday when I took delivery. Very short experience so far with only a few days and a few hundred miles, but I'm extremely happy with it so far. That said, I have a spare car. If it broke down tomorrow and was out of commission for a couple of weeks it...
He actually said it was broken before the dirt went in the bed. I think it got hung up on the boxes that were crammed up under it and it's just that fragile. My tonneau cover still works after 3 days but it's definitely on the clunky side and I'm not going out of my way to play with it.
We have a pool and outdoor kitchen being built in our backyard right now. Today we went to pick out a granite slab for the kitchen area. One of the folks at the granite supplier tracked me down in while we were browsing to ask about the R1T. He and his cousin apparently have R1S order in and he...
My delivery person mentioned that height changes go much more smoothly when you drive, even if it’s not far. Definitely was the case when I went to highest to try it out.
It's my second day with the R1T and first experience with an EV of any sort. I am really liking the regen and one pedal driving. So much so that I turned regen up to high and don't plan to look back. I didn't expect to feel particularly strongly one way or another, but I'm a very quick convert.
It finally happened! The third VIN turned out to be the charm and I took delivery of my R1T today at the Richmond service center. The spare tire I ordered was included, which surprised my delivery person a little.
The delivery person did a pretty thorough final detail and inspection and noted...
