It was a mistake to not do this. Should have kept the original 20” with aero covers and options for AT or AS tires, and then the 22” performance. I don’t understand the justification for a 21” wheel.
Same boat as you…
11/27/2018 Reservation, never canceled.
LG/FE/20”AT… haven’t messed with config in ages..
April-May 2022 delayed to Oct-Dec 2022 delayed to Feb-Mar 2023.
Guide assigned April 2022.
Was really not expecting another delay.,
I think LG looks better in the shade than in full sun. It looks more complex and less washed-out. That being said, I'm likely sticking with LG.... probably.
Yeah I saw that there are no real options on Tirerack, but shouldn't the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 fit on the 20"s? For 275 width, there are 3 sizes available that could potentially fit (45, 55, 60 aspect ratio). The load rating seems fine for these as well.
Has anyone out there done this yet? Has anyone swapped out their A/T tires on their 20" wheels for A/S?
If so, which tires did you go with and how have they impacted drive feel/efficiency/etc.?
I'd be pretty frustrated if he got pre-price hike price. If he spent less than $90k on that truck and got to skip the line... HUGE slap in the face to everyone who has been waiting.
Also annoying that he had the nerve to even ask if he could get his exact configuration early. Pretty selfish..
I can't stand those ugly stickers and am not looking forward to putting them on my LG R1S. Wish they could be replaced with a Special License Plate indicating the vehicle is an EV.
My guide is in Southern California. Feel bad.. just sent him a flurry of "pointed" texts about how frustrating it is that it's been a year since the "deep dive" e-mail was sent and we still have nothing on the R1S. Tried to emphasize that it was directed at Rivian and not at him.
This is what I needed to see. I wasn't sure how LG would look on R1S so was hedging with LA Silver (I'm cheap, what can I say). Glacier White had been ruled out due to the 12 other white SUVs on my block. LG looks NICE.
Another Sacramento native! Nice

Wes wrote a BS article about Rivian being vaporware after the initial reveal. Here’s a brief snippet: “Bollinger appears to be in a very similar position to Rivian. The big difference between all of the above and the R1T appears to be Rihanna.” That article was just as painful to read as his...
I thought it also doesn’t qualify because the MSRP cap is $60k for trucks/SUVs?
What is annoying is that the cap doesn’t apply to fuel cell vehicles.
