Hey, just stumbled on your comment from Google. Did you happen to try the Evenflo Extend? That's what we're looking at to replace our Graco infant seat, but unsure if it'll be too big. Between that and the slim, but the Extend looks to go Toddler->Forward ->Booster, and since we're already on...
Haha yeah, I just got back from the tire shop (still two in the bed) and wanted to see how they looked.
Still a smidge too warm for the winters, but at least I'm ready!
Ready for rubber!
Not perfect but for a winter set, it's def good enough for me! Was a bit windy while painting but I only had the one warm day to get it done.
Going to go on a FG R1T
I've got my bronze paint ordered :) will post pics once it's done. Amazingly hard to find duplicolor bronze at the moment, but that shade seems to look best. Going to top it with a satin/matte clear coat I think, but will make that call after the bronze is on.
Wow haha way more prep than I was gonna do haha. My goal isn't perfect since these are just my Winter wheels. Sounds like you fully prepped the inside of the wheel too? Beyond power washing I wasn't going to do any prep there or paint it -- just focusing on the outer surface. Not sure if that's...
Got it, so might as well order a set. Good to know.
Lol I ordered duplicolor bronze...
So far I've power washed the rims and sprayed/scrubbed with wheel cleaner. Next I'll scuff them with either a scuff pad or sand paper and use simple green to really degrease and clean them. Then cross my...
Did the OEM RAM TPMS sensors work natively? Or had to reprogram once you changed the battery? And how did you know the battery was dead?
I've got rims/RAM TPMS without tires sitting in my shed, waiting for my paint to arrive. Not sure how to test the TPMS setup though.
Yup, FG - gonna paint them bronze for a change of look. Trouble is if I mount the tires and the toms don't work, gotta take them off and replace the sensors. I'll take a closer look at the rims when I get outside again (tires already removed)
Well... I did it.
Question: my wheels came with TPMS; can the RAM sensors be programmed to work with the Rivian system? Or do you need the generic/off-brand ones?
My worry is having the 7000lb truck sitting 'off-axis'. OEM lines the wheel up with the center of the bearing; shifting it puts the weight off-center so it may not wear evenly. In that regard, I'd want them on for winter or only when offroading to put them on for the least amount of time. Here...
Hey all - I've been eyeing a set of 2363s but in all my research and reading through threads, I see 1-2 people per thread commenting on the offset being too far off from OEM which can lead to damaging the suspension/bearings/???. Also keep seeing mention that the "scrub patch" will be off...
Makes me almost rather take the 2005 Ford Freestyle rusting away in the driveway for short trips rather than have to reboot the truck twice running to the grocery store
Yeah, it fixes it for me, but it's pretty much every time I get into the vehicle. Today I went to the liquor store, reset before I left. Shopped, came out and had to reset. Drove across the parking lot to the grocery store, came out and had to do a reset, drove home. Going anywhere requires an...
I noticed in the last update that they released a "fix" for rare crashes. I had never had an infotainment crash before then. Now whenever I get in, the infotainment/dash is frozen or wrong. If I was charging, the dash graphic shows the truck charging with the cable poking out even as I back out...
