I noticed in the last update that they released a "fix" for rare crashes. I had never had an infotainment crash before then. Now whenever I get in, the infotainment/dash is frozen or wrong. If I was charging, the dash graphic shows the truck charging with the cable poking out even as I back out of the driveway. The infotainment has been stuck on the gear guard "lookout" screen while I was driving. Most times the center screen is just black.

I've tried full reboots, but most times I have to do an infotainment reset to get functionality back.

Annoyingly this also resets my dashcam so I have to unplug and replug the USB.

Anyone else?

Yes, since last update, the transition from one screen (map) to another screen (drive modes) on occasion takes a few seconds with a black screen as the transitional display.

I’ve been experiencing this problem as well. Infotainment reset fixes it for me but the drive cam thing is annoying af to have to unplug/replug.

Just curious, have all of you tried leaving the drive cam drive unplugged. It might be that those drives may be causing the behavior. Just interesting that all are reporting an issue with the drives related to the issue.

Just for reference, I’m on 2023.22.0 and do not have the issue.

Yeah, it fixes it for me, but it's pretty much every time I get into the vehicle. Today I went to the liquor store, reset before I left. Shopped, came out and had to reset. Drove across the parking lot to the grocery store, came out and had to do a reset, drove home. Going anywhere requires an extra minute or two to reset the vehicle. Super annoying

I do not use the drive cam and I have seen the screen go black for several seconds, a few times, since the last update.

Same here...sometimes it's uncomfortably long for the page to load, especially the vehicle or drive mode screens.

I’ve had this intermittently since I got my truck in December.

Haven’t set up my dash cam usb yet, but I did update to 2023.22.0 and have had to do infotainment reset multiple times as it won’t let me move to navigation screen from other screens. Just tries to load map and then defaults to prior screen. Reset fixes, but I think it’s been just about every day since the update. Never before.

This has been my experience (I do have the drive cam hooked up). Since the last update (or maybe the previous one), I have had it turn black on entering the drive mode screen (and only this screen). It either fixes itself after a delay or by switching to another screen and back. It is annoying, but thankfully it is the drive screen so it only affects my switching from soft to firm - not exactly an emergency.

This happened to me many times after the last update 23.22. Infotainment frozen with black screen on Nav and screen stuck at gearguard other times. Looking forward to next update for the fix.

Makes me almost rather take the 2005 Ford Freestyle rusting away in the driveway for short trips rather than have to reboot the truck twice running to the grocery store
