Rivian (swag) at Mauna Loa Eruption

I wore some Rivian swag to the Mauna Loa eruption this morning.

An actual Rivian with that eruption in the background would have been so much more interesting, but me in a Rivian sweatshirt will have to do for now.

My second pre 3/1 preorder is currently configured as an R1S for a Hawaii delivery in 2024. I debate daily whether to change it to an R1T Max pack and wait it out, then ship my current R1T to Hawaii.

Regardless, I hope I can be one of the first to take a photo of a Rivian with an active volcano in the background.

I’d like to take my kids to see an active volcano & get close to lava. No better place than Hawaii. Are tourists welcomed or frowned on?

Yup and that was at 5:15 am. I wanted to get there at 3 in the morning to avoid the crowds, but I went with some neighbors and the didn't want to leave that early. We left around 4:30 am. The line of cars was very Field of Dreams like.
