R1S Spare Tire & Onboard Air Compressor - All the details and how it works

Several people have asked about the spare on the R1S. It's a compressed spare (deflated) but, as we all know, there's an air compressor on board. So, the big question is how does it work. I went through the whole process. No, I'm not a mechanic (I just play one on TV) so if you DIY this be careful. But it does work. And it's pretty cool also.

OK .. even though my chances of receiving my R1S are looking dim at the moment,

The spare tire design is very cool !!
