Living in the mountains of western NC, it isn’t unusual to lose electricity from time to time and even though they work hard, getting it restored by Duke Energy can be hit or miss. Therefore, we have a nice 25kw natural gas generator for backup. Until the battery gets old and cranky and won‘t cooperate when the temperature is +1. I have a nice charger but no electricity…. Wait…..
I DO have electricity in the R1T. So, I plugged the battery charger in to the truck outlet, charged up the battery and voila! We have generator backup agian. Not quite V2H but close.
