Wife and I just got back from ice climbing in Ouray, CO and skiing Silverton, monarch, and wolf creek. We did some camping at an RV park and quite a bit of winter driving.

Driving:
- R1T continues to feel fantastic with winter tires. Still haven’t felt nervous on really any road, and we drove through some pretty big storms.
- Our trip efficiency calculation no longer matches the “distance/total energy” calculation- is that how it always is? Trip efficiency says 1.66, we had skis above the cab and quite a bit of vampire drain overnight since we were away from chargers often and in pretty cold weather
- We did 90% of our charging on the two RAN chargers in Colorado and they were great. We had no issues, one stop had one non-operational. Locations are better than EA too, both you can walk somewhere better than a sams club.
- A heater in our FSR insulated tent worked really well. Since we were camping we ran it on just the fan overnight and had no condensation issues. We were plugged in so I can’t speak to the power usage.
- Our plywood tonneau worked great in the snow and ice, no issues
- We did have some door handles freeze up that we had to chip ice out of. We did not precondition prior to arriving at the vehicle. Also had a gear tunnel door button freeze up, ironically the water looks like it pooled in the button. Still opened fine with the screen button, but annoying. Pic attached.
- Great. Ouray had a ton of routes open for this time of year. We lucked out with weather and it was warm. Skiing was a little denser than normal in Colorado but we had great deep snow all over.
