Tesla’s plans to open its Supercharger Network to other electric vehicles seem to be moving forward. As per a recent update, select US Superchargers will be open to all electric vehicles. The company is also looking to double the size of the Supercharger Network by the end of 2024.

WSJ article on this:

Tesla to Open Some Superchargers to Other Vehicles, White House Says
Move would qualify the company for a share of billions in public dollars

Tesla Inc. TSLA 7.51%increase; green up pointing triangle will open part of its proprietary Supercharger network to other kinds of vehicles for the first time, the White House said Wednesday. The move qualifies the company for a share of billions of federal dollars on offer to build a national network of electric-vehicle chargers.

So without more details, "select" sites could be 5% of locations, or it could be 75% of locations.

Tesla plans to open at least 3,500 new and existing 250 kilowatt chargers to drivers of all kinds of EVs by the end of next year, the White House said.

Tesla already has a U.S. network of more than 17,700 fast chargers at over 1,650 locations, but in the U.S. they aren’t available to other types of vehicles.

The WSJ article I added in the post says about 20% of locations by end of 2024
Probably new sites they are adding the year will get the upgrade. So it won't be very helpful for a long time.

From the article:

"Tesla has agreed to open the Supercharger network in the US by the end of 2024."

So don't hold your breath. We know how timing works at Tesla.

A lot of the more rural and less used Superchargers could be opened to CCS would be a real benefit. I very much doubt Tesla is going to improve the CCS charging experience in LA.

Taking the Tesla twitter post literally Tesla are beginning a massive buildout.
