I hope the price increase will come with the much desired improvements. I cancelled my Pass+ for now since I can get lower (or almost the same) price/Kwh through Tesla without subscribing. I’d like to see how this change gets implemented first and i would rather not be subscribed at this roll out. There are already app issues and unavailable chargers as it is now.

It’s been difficult to use EA even if i want to because there is a few EVs already lined up waiting to charge. I am also not sure if I can use my Pass+ subscription enough to realize any savings.

I hope EA will keep building and improving their efficiencies for the long run. We need EA but they need to step up.

Idle fees? That's rich... EA should be paying users for all the time they waste trying to get a charge out of their buggy stations!

Aren't idle fees a good thing? Doesn't this keep people from just leaving their car after charging is finished. Seems even more important given that only a fraction of EA chargers seem to work at any given time. Maybe they can reinvest the fees in better maintenance.

Yes, idle fees are a great thing and 1000% needed. They only kick in after a charge completes, so if the charge never starts, there won't be any fees anyway.

1000%!!! The cost should reflect charging performance! Charger does 150kW for 10 seconds, then drops to 50kW... Full price! (For where cost per minute applies)

For those where it's per kWh, they have more incentive to make them fast, because it encourages turnover per stall.

Arguably the 3 most important/accessible EA stations in the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Tacoma are all offline. It's rare to even be at a station with all chargers working. Hopefully with this price increase comes some much needed infrastructure revamps. Not paying a dime until then.
