That's great. Do you notice a difference in range between or handling from your 21's? I like my 21's, but they don't last. I am at 22k miles and I don't think I have more than 500-1000 left. These wheels arrive next Thursday and I need to make a decision. Dang you. These look great. I did notice they are 115H load rating, I thought Rivian required 116. Did your installer have any issues mounting them?
OEM 22” tires on Rivians are also 115H.

When the tire shop says they wouldn't install 115H tires on your Rivian - just go to another shop :)

I'm not necessarily advocating in the other direction either..BUT, my local mom & pop shop asked me (when I started inquiring about Tires and they were unable to source the Outpost nATs) if I *really* needed 10 ply, 115 rated tires. They were looking for the 'minimum viable' alternative.

I did insist that I wanted 10 ply (as I intend on using these for occasional off-road shenanigans) and wasn't comfortable dropping below 115, though I've seen in other forums people going down to 113 (with no intention of towing or off-roading of course).

If everyone running 115s starts getting terrible blowouts or getting unusually high rates of wear, then we'll panic. For now, I think we're all OK.

Just a small tip of the day.

Before dropping your [AW10] at the tire shop, take off the center caps. They are made out of aluminum and are pretty heavy.

Tire shops are busy and sometimes can't take care of all the small things during assembly and they tend to drop them on the floor while putting the wheel on the balance machine, which scratches the caps. It will be frustrating to get center caps scratched on your nice and shiny new [AW10] :)

We still have a lot in stock.

Satin Black
Satin Bronze
Satin + Transparent black

Everything is ready for shipping. The 10% discount is still active. No code is needed.

Sorry for the delay everyone; I had some things come up.

But here are the 'dirty' photos I'd promised:

Early thoughts:
-These look better in person, for SURE. I thought they looked good on the website, and debated about color to go with my Limestone. I have ZERO regrets--I think these look great! And they feel great. Quality.

- The tire shop was impressed on 2 accounts. 1- they said these balanced WAY better than they anticipated. New wheel manufacturer (at least one they'd never worked with) AND 'big knobby All Terrains' as they put it typically take a bit of effort to get balanced, but they only used a few weights, most of which were 1/2 or 3/4 ounce. and 2- they liked how AW center caps are held in--there's a gasket in there, which will help to prevent water from pooling and rusting the hub more. They did have a bit of difficulty removing them because of this, but said they appreciated that, due to the likelihood they'll stay on the wheels and keep the hubs protected.

- As someone else mentioned--the lug wells are tight. I love the look, but make sure you have a thin walled set of sockets to put these bad boys on (if doing it yourself and for roadside reasons). I will say, I had purchased my jack pucks from EV Sportline and the socket they sent with that kit was perfect; and so that was my go-to for my torque wrench

- Driving: THESE ARE way louder than I anticipated (not the wheels fault; definitely the Nokians). I may play with tire pressure a bit to see if anything makes a difference. On paper, we should be running closer to 35-36 psi with these (load rating vs GVWR), but most people are running the 48. I decided to run 47 for my own reasons...for now. I'm also very concerned about range hit, but again..it's early days.

There's a chance that as these 'wear in' a bit, they get better with both noise and range hits. For now, they're quite sticky.

-As far as driving dynamics, the truck is SOLID with these on, and I think it even has better cornering/maneuverability than it did with the OEM 21s with Pirellis.

I was hoping to get the truck cleaned up this weekend and get a photoshoot together, but our forecast is looking gnarly, so we'll see.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Those look great! I really like the bronze and have been toying with the idea for my truck.

I have the Outpost AT (not nAT) on 20" Ram wheels. I have been leaving mine at 48 psi and am happy with the ride and noise (they are louder, but I was expecting even more based on past experiences with AT tires). I do notice a roughly 20% range hit compared to the stock 21s when I switch to the Outposts for winter, but that is of course a combination of cold and tires. Even on the relatively warm days I use 11-12% each way going to and from work, where I use 9-10% with the OE 21s.

The bronze looks great with Limestone. Can't wait to get mine mounted on Monday, I think the bronze + FG is going to look ?

My only metric so far, on range, is taking my kiddo into school. A trip that takes 2-3% on most (nice) days took 5%. It essentially took me ~17 miles to go 9 (these are backroads where we don't exceed 50 mph--that said, there ARE some pretty steep inclines heading home).

I have a 141 mile round trip commute, and I typically charge to ~80-85% and arrive back home at around 22-25% SoC (winter driving--I was safely going from 70%->20% over the summer). So... I may need to top off the battery for days heading into the office, especially if it gets any colder. But we'll see how they handle highway speeds! This is my winter + offroad set; I'll swap back to the 21s in the summer and when staying on pavement.

I haven't had range anxiety before, because I always made it home with plenty left, but there are ZERO fast chargers available to me between home and work. I have my fingers and toes crossed that Elon's team opens up their chargers that's exactly midway between home and work and I'll relax quite a bit. But that's a roll of the dice, and even if it does happen, who knows *when.*

But if math serves me, I was taking approximately 60% SoC winter driving to commute, with 20% increase, I'll need closer to 72%, so leaving ~20% "in the tank" means I should probably charge to ~92%.

I will echo what others have said regarding the quality of these wheels. If you are on the fence about them with a relatively unknown company, it is not warranted. The quality of the packaging and the product are top notch.

I got my new AW10 wheels installed yesterday, and they look great! I picked them up on Wednesday (I’m local), and everything was smooth and easy.

I got tires (Nokian Outpost nAT’s) and the sensors separately online, and the local tire shop got ‘em ready no problem. All you do for the new sensors is drive and they just pop up automatically like the old ones.

I’m really happy with how the Satin + Transparent black color turned out. They look quite dark in some lighting/angles, but give a good shine in others.

Some pics here, one of which has my old 21s for reference.

I got mine on Amazon before Atomic Wheels started offering them from them website. Probably just easiest to order from Atomic Wheels here if you order their wheels at the same time. The Amazon ones aren't shipping until February from the looks of it right now.

No programming needed. You just drive and the Rivian senses them and picks it up. I was honestly ready for some hassle or something when I first got them on the truck, but it really was that easy.
