2024.39 Update Rolling Out

Per release notes it’s in one.

I just assume it’s possible the release notes are there to prompt people but the features could already be present from a prior update.

But that necessarily assumes the software team is ahead of schedule which seems…unlikely.

Last OTA was released in mid Sept. If we’re talking about a retail chain that puts out seasonal holiday merchandise way ahead of actual holiday, plausible. But, no. Release notes are specifically for what is contained within each respective software release. Link added to previous posts. References to Halloween at the end.

Not the biggest fan of some of the UI on this one, but like always, I’m sure I’ll learn to like it. You can’t please everyone right.

However, I like the concept of the compass on the driver display, just wish it could also be customizable with say, the now playing of your music? Either way, nice to have a little update with some refreshed UI.

Que? They added a carousel pane in driver display to show currently playing media. That isn’t enough?

Just updated to 2024.39 and now this...

Also noticed I can no longer set "do not auto lock at home" so now my car is constantly locking and unlocking as I walk past the garage. Anyone else had this issue and have a fix?

Zero issues here.Maybe try doing a hard reset?

For sure, if that’s ALL you want to see there - I was merely noting as a pure personal preference of switching the compass out for that and still being able to have say the map… perhaps it’s a case of being spoilt with all the different configurations and fully appreciate it’s a first world problem - likely I didn’t express this very well.

Mine started when I got home and then got stuck on “paused “ for the last hour or so. I’m connected to WiFi but I guess my truck has second thoughts on this update….

It’s displaying a bunch of null data: 0° outside temp, 0°c battery temp, heading 0°, etc.

Do a full reset and it should be better. Please let us know.

Nothing for me either. Noticed my WiFi wasn’t connected and the WiFi menu stuck on “searching for networks” so needed to do a soft reset and WiFi back up. Still no update notice and I have a paid connect plus sub.
