But now my hopes are up! I do have occasional PaaK proximity problems. I like to say my Rivian suffers from narcolepsy; it goes to sleep FAST and take a LOT to wake it up. Especially when it's raining and my arms are full of grocery bags...

Question / related: Did I read somewhere that the NFC of the PaaK can be used to unlock the Rivian?

There's that great Rivian QA again! Obviously not a material error, but it shows a continued lack of review in everything Rivian pushes out. It doesn't do anything for my confidence, as this just continues to make them look sloppy.

Our G2 R1S just installed it. Had I not gotten a heads up here I would have been really confused since Rivian Roamer called it the Halloween update.

Update received and installed on my R1T. Hopefully this fixes my proximity locking.

It is the same major version, just a minor sub-version. As far as Rivian is concerned, they're the same.

Honestly, with the way people scrutinize every action Rivian takes I’m impressed there are as few mistakes as there are. I’ve been a part of many different companies and most of them aren’t ran as well as Rivian is for the stage of their business.
