Based on your post, I looked up Gaspe and it definitely looks like somewhere I'd like to visit. Any recommendation of hotels and top places to visit? I'd probably fly in to QC and drive up. Cheers.

It is a worthy drive and little known by Americans. We are camping so no hotel thoughts. All the little villages seem very well maintained with what looks to me like a lot of vacation rentals. I would check out VRBO.

The bigger towns of Rimouski and Matane of kinda industrial and can be skipped.

Drive all the way to Forillon Park. We also stayed and hiked at Bic park, also nice.

The main activities along the drive are enjoying the views, frequent villages with beach walks and lookouts. It’s rural so hotels and big restaurants are scarce but we found some very enjoyable little cafes.

This is indeed an epic road trip. Photos don’t capture it at all. The scale is vast. Hundreds of miles of wilderness and scenery. These photos are from Nova Scotia.

Epic indeed! Highly recommend.

The Rivian nav system has been extremely accurate for estimating miles of range remaining.

Charging on Cape Breton is indeed sparse. Even Level 2 is thin. A nice 180 kw just opened on the south end of the cape.

we are staying at a lovely lodge that has nice level 2s. To do the Cabot Trail in a EV almost requires a stay there. But you should stay there anyway. It the most scenic part of all of Cape Breton. It The Markland Costal Cottages. Two thumbs up!

We have arrived at our apex destination. Meat Cove. The northern most community in Nova Scotia. We scored the very best campsite for two nights. Spectacular setting.
