Pretty new to the forum here, so my apologies if this is already answered. Sure seams like an awesome community. Wife has an RIS configured (9/18/21 deposit) with 22” wheels.

Anyways, I saw someone post that there are limits on the types of tires you can put on EVs. This will be our first EV, and here in Montana, run M/S tires year round on her SUV. Michelin Defender LTX have treated her well and come in 275/50R22 and Blizzak winter tires that we used to swap on in the winter don’t come in that size as far as I’m aware and wear super fast ( but are glued to the snowy / icy roads). 80% driving is paved roads in town, that can be icy and snow packed for weeks at any time 6+ month out of the year. Other driving is 15miles to the ski hill, trailheads and the occasional 400mile halfway across the state to visit family, etc. which will have and added layer of adventure in an EV. (Will have to map out RV parks for handshake 50 amp emergency charging.)

Anyone know if I can run these on R1S with 22” wheels?

Buy a set of 20” wheels with winter tires for winter, keep the 22” for summer.
