where, how do you get the Rivian binding agreement letter required for the $7500 tax credit?

IIRC you would have had to signed that back in 2022 before the new legislation went into effect. If you didn't enter into the agreement back then I do not think you can do it now. When we did it it sent us a letter and said save this for tax purposes or something similar.

EDIT: The Rivian link above confirms it would have had to have been signed on or before 8/15/2022. If your MSRP was under 80k you may still be able to claim a credit for 2023. Check with your tax preparer.

Are they selling any under $80k? I've checked the store, and find R1Ts as low as $80,750. A $750 price cut would be an $8,250 boon to the buyer. But I never see one lower.

I think at $72,500, I could convince my wife. And I'm not that interested in the paint color or cool looking tires. I don't even really need the Max Pack. But it's a tough sell at double the price of my Tundra.

Rivian customer service told me they can send me a copy if I need it.
They've got it on file if you signed one.

I tried the link that came in the binding written agreement confirmation email from 8/26/22 and it didn't work so I tried calling/chatting with CS. I was #45 in chat with a 2 hour wait and hung up after being on hold for 20 minutes. I text my guide from the app and he emailed me the form a few minutes later.

Submitted my amended return for 2022 last night and it was accepted. Hopefully the $7,500 will hit my account in the next few weeks.

The 8/26/22 email was the confirmation that you signed it. An email came out 8/10/22 that had a link to sign the binding agreement and that had to be signed before 8/16/22 when the new law took effect. Hopefully you were able to do that.

And I received the check today. I received a letter from the IRS this week stating they received my amended return. Took about a month. If I hadn't seen it on this forum, I wouldn't have remembered the credit.
