Adding Gear after Order placed

I learned AFTER PLACING MY ORDER (on 6/17) that I’m eligible for a free Rivian Portable Charger, a J1772 AC Adapter and Combo CCS1DC Adapter. Anyone know if it’s possible to add that during the buying or pick up process? Rivian AI Assistance says I can’t change or add to my order.

Just give them a call or direct email? Might vary by location, availability, willingness of some troglodyte behind a desk to be helpful otherwise?

My understanding is that being eligible for those options means that they are mandated by your state laws. I don’t know if you need to order them per se. You might get a second one of each if you add them to your order. Rivian can address that though when you reach them.

So I talked with a Rivian rep this morning, about exactly this. I'm currently in the Trade-In review/Financing process, and he said once everything is finalized and I can get to the Complete Purchase step, I should be able to add it there. And then he said, as a backup, he is leaving a note with my delivery team to ensure they check up on this during the delivery process. So fingers crossed, I can add it in once they approve my trade in.

If anything I'd give them a call and ask to have your delivery team look into it.
