Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have a max pack. I converted to a standard pack after my max pack was delayed.
It would be a good idea to say that you when back to large pack. I though you had a MAX pack too.

Congratulations! You are the first Max Pack to Large converter that I have seen acknowledged as existing! Maybe some hope.

Great first post. I am a Dec 2018 res holder. Adventure res since day one. Have never been contacted about anything. It is simply crazy time when it comes to how Rivian does business with its earliest supporters.
The post-it note with your order probably fell off the dart board.

They're in a tough spot. If they ship a Rivian Blue R1T with FG interior to Arizona and that guy doesn't take delivery, they're not going to spend $1500 to ship the car to Boston for the next guy in line. I'm sure they just go, "Ok well who has the closest spec within 100 miles, let's call them."

Rivian is trying to get to Tesla-size while skipping a lot of the middle (if one could say that about a company that has been out just as long, anyways) and that's going to mean scaling is the priority at the expense of a strict observation of the reservation queue.

This is where I think the supply chain is legitimately tripping them up. I think they could be at about 200 cars per week at this point but that's so hard to discern. They could just as easily be having problems on the lines that they're blaming on supply.

If it makes you feel any better, I think someone did thr math and they are closer to 300/wk currently produced as of last earnings call (many fewer successfully delivered)

300 a week is huge. Loving my RIVN pickup at $26/share lol

I have also been wavering between Max pack and Large. There are two routes near where I live with no fast chargers where a Max pack would be 100x more convenient. That said, I finally converted my 8/20 order two days ago. With all the increased material costs lately, I'm very nervous Rivian will keep punting Max packs down the line. I would be very frustrated if Q1 '23 (max delivery estimate) comes and they push it to '24.

Since I actually had made two reservations (one for R1S) pre price hike, my current plan is to convert the R1S down the road to a max R1T if I find out I really really need the extra range.

Also, this is at least the third max to large I've seen on the forums.

"I also have some mild hood flutter at highway speeds (70+mph). It's not bad and could be ignored if there were never a fix"

you can verify but there was a Official bulletin regarding the hood being missing or lacking sufficient adhesive in some areas under the hood around the middle of the frunk.

..
The hood flutter is fixed, at least in my VIN#3700's built 04/2022.
