I’ve had my R1T since Nov ‘22 and recently found that the air compressor shuts off after after its initial charge. If I’m using it to fill my tires, I have to wake it up after every tire to recharge it. I’ve also used it for framing a wall and I have to constantly walk out to wake it to recharge after every 5 nails. Is there a way to keep it running/recharging continuously? It’s happened since I first bought it but thought it was just user error/learning curve but have recently determined this is normal functionality (at least for mine).

This device is NOT a traditional air compressor. It is an inflator. There is no reservoir to charge.

Yeah, I just used mine for the first time. Reminded me of the early HP calculators in the ‘70’s with reverse Polish notation. Anyway, the only way I got it to work is to use the adapter that comes with it and locks onto the stem and then go hit the On button. Once it shut off automatically at the preset pressure but otherwise I hit Pause to see the pressure on the display. It does fill the tires pretty quickly.
