Alexa lost in last update

At first I could finally adjust the Alexa volume, then a day or two later she’s gone AWOL. Also getting a constant screen pop up asking about my contacts for Amazon.
Did the software soft reset but no help with Alexa- she gone.

Alexa likes to pretend she doesn't understand me in those cases.

Did you try turning Alexa off and back on? It happened to me last year, that resolved it for me, I think I had to log back in afterwards.

Hard reset not only resurrected Alexa, the volume issue is corrected as well
