I could even see something as simple as “Alexa, activate <name>” or as detailed as “Alexa, activate <name> garage door opener.” Just like at home I can say, “Alexa, turn on cabinet” as a shorter version of “Alexa, turn on the cabinet lights.” I think this is a familiar syntax for people who use Alexa: wake word then action then name of item to act upon.In that case, just say "Alexa, garage door <name> activate." Should be some way to train Alexa to recognize <name>.
No matter how you implement it, it seems like it should be pretty straightforward. It could be that Rivian developers have other priorities.
