I have had the premium music family plan subscription for several years before taking delivery of my R1T. I needed something to satisfy four users and multiple devices. I compared family plans for Amazon, Apple, and Spotify. As I recall, Amazon was a bit cheaper. And, of course, it is the most seamless service for use with Amazon Echo devices at home.

It has a pretty extensive library and all the features you would expect in terms of DIY playlists, curated playlists, themed stations, and offline listening in the mobile app. Dolby Atmos tracks are available but Atmos is not yet supported in the Rivian infotainment for Amazon Music. I’m hoping that it will happen eventually now that we have Atmos support for Apple Music and will have Spotify Atmos support in the next update.
