I read elsewhere that they will not appear until trading starts. Not sure if that’s true, but thus far my shares haven’t appeared in my account.

I started with an old MS login that still had only inactive accounts in it.
I still do not see the new RIVN IPO DSP account listed when I login to MS, though I got the "Your New Account Has Been Created" confirmation email 11/2, DSP Pricing Reminder and Pricing Details email today, and successfully confirmed my 50-share purchase.
I had one External Account setup for ACH previously, and setup a few others on MS last week in prep for this. Even spoke to an MS rep who confirmed I had an MS Acct setup for this DSP (she gave me the acct nbr).
But I still do not see that DSP acct when I login to MS.
And though I have 3 External Accounts setup to transfer From, the Transfer Funds button takes me to an error dialog which indicates I do not have "more than one eligible account" for any Transfer requests. WTF?

Got my email for my 50 shares. Went to log into my MS account to pay for them but don’t see where I need to go in my account to complete the transaction.. anyone have some direction to get this accomplished?

Was planning to invest $10k regardless as I have that much in another stock that I sold (play money ). Will spend half of that now and buy $5k more when the stock inevitably dips in the coming weeks/months.

Beside the mess with their website. Morgan Stanley is putting restrictions on when you can transfer funding. I initiated ACH transfer but i could ONLY schedule it on 11/12 and the “estimated” transfer will be completed by 11/15. I do not understand why i can’t initiate ACH transfer today since banks are working today.

The e-mail links you to a process that finally tells you how much you owe. Previously you set up a Morgan Stanley account (or designated an existing one) for this DSP. You must now ACH the required amount to that account. When the ACH transfer completes presumably the shares will appear in that account.

Just checked, money was taken out automatically this morning as mentioned in another thread and shares now showing in my account. Here's to a good ride with Rivian, literally and figuratively

At the last check the shares appear in the account and the balance is negative the amount due as the ACH hasn't cleared yet.

My intention is to transfer these shares to an existing account at another brokerage as soon as they are really mine. Are others planning to do this?

I did 100 - wired the $ yesterday & was in my account in 10 minutes & drafted when I woke up.

Dad did 175

Brother did 80

Initially, I was doing 175 until it became way oversubscribed & the price went up.
