"Allow precise location sharing" page keeps coming up and intermittent data connectivity

After the last update, almost every time I get into the Rivian, it displays a screen saying "Allow precise location sharing?". The annoying part is, you have to be in Park to hit "Allow"... When this comes up, it also means I have to go into the Data & Privacy settings and turn back on all the autonomy settings or I can't utilize them either.

It also seems that the internet connection has been badly effected. Very often, Spotify & SiriusXM will say they don't have internet connection, and the vehicle won't be able to calculate range, etc.

Anyone else having this?

I just toggled this on in my vehicle because my smart turn signal was not working. However, I did not experience this pop-up.

Currently, it appears you are Wi-Fi connected only. Did you try an infotainment reset yet?

I hit the same thing yesterday (just did the update on Wednesday). I was just leaving the house when I agreed to precise location sharing so it wasn't a big deal to put it in park to do so. It then popped up again later while I was driving.

Looks like another hotfix will be coming soon...

At that moment, I was driving through NYC and it did have Wifi on... however, I usually have wifi off.

The data is intermittent even with both wifi and hotspot toggled off. It's quite annoying.

I have also done soft and hard resets of the vehicle a couple times now.

That would drive me nuts. I tend to keep Wi-Fi off unless there’s a pending update. Maybe you should use Wi-Fi and hotspot to your phone in the meantime, and contact Rivian Support.
