Ordered my R1S a couple weeks ago and am in the 2-year que!
I primarily listen to sports radio and sporting events while driving, and most of that genre is on AM radio. Now, I know that you really can't get decent AM reception in an EV, but I thought, "No problem. I'll just stream it thru I-Heart radio on my iPhone. "
Then, I find out that Rivian has elected at this point in time to not have AP or AA as a supported feature. Do you know if they will be supporting streaming services, such as iHeart radio or whatever so I can get my beloved sports talk?

I believe Rivian is supporting https://tunein.com/ so maybe check if they have the sports you care about.

Just checked, and yes they do support many local stations, so all is good.
Ironically, this would have been a deal killer for me. I love my music, but I listen a lot to sports talk and news on the am side.

Also, some AM stations rebroadcast over HD radio sub channels. This works for me in my Tesla, but HD Radio is more susceptible to interference. And when it happens, the station does not become "staticy" ... instead it just drops out until signal is reaquired.
