We took delivery of our R1T two weeks ago, but not without some major purchasing hurdles. Firstly, the 8 step process was glitchy and ridden with bugs. Then I was told they painted the truck the wrong color, which delayed our delivery until they could match the correct spec. But this swag kit came in the mail a couple days ago, complete with a hand written note and some toys for our pets. It may seem like a small gesture, but it is the little things that win me over. Bravo Rivian.

The letter reads:

“Hi (name)!

I hope things have been well since you’ve accepted delivery of your new Rivian!!

I wanted to reach out and thank you for being understanding when we realized an area of opportunity in our process. Your patience was greatly appreciated as we work towards a solution.

Say hi to (name) and those fur babies for me!
