Amazon keeps popping up asking for access to my contacts

The last couple of days. Amazon keeps asking for access to my contacts. I keep selecting the NO option. But if the driver profile of the car changes, when it changes back to mine. It will pop up again. Is there a better NO choice, or any ideas on how to turn off Amazon asking for my contacts?

It’s because of Alexa. Go to vehicle settings menu. Sign out of Alexa. Sign back in if you use it. Otherwise stay signed out. If you use it go ahead and allow access so it can be used to help you make calls. It’s not used to spam your contacts. If you don’t want to grant access then there is no point enabling it. Stay signed out.

The problem seems, I was logged out of my Amazon account. Once I logged back in and said NO, it stopped asking. Weird that I wasn't logged in, and it kept asking for my contacts. I guess its another "works as coded".

Wired, I’m trying to add my contacts and can’t figure out how. I’d like to be able to ask to navigate to my contacts. Also can Alexa read texts?
