Amazon Music Song Skip Issue

Hi All,

I use Amazon music most of the time in the car - basically so I can just tell Alexa what I want to hear. Usually, I can. then skip songs as needed with the steering wheel button. However, suddenly it will only let me go 30 seconds forward or I have to skip the song by reaching to the far side of the screen. Anyone else have this issue? Can I change it back??

Seems like a bug as I have the issue and it's been reported on Reddit as well. Best workaround I have is asking Alexa to skip the song.

I ran into this same thing yesterday afternoon. The same button on the steering wheel just fast-forwards 30 seconds. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Might be self evident, but have you tried long-pressing the steering wheel button to see if it behaves any differently?

I, personally, would like the option to be able to fast forward versus skip songs (mostly for podcasts with baked-in ads; clearly not on Amazon Music, by the way)...
