Any other Canadians on this group yet?

I went through a few threads and tried to note the (updated) windows people posted as well as their locations. Here is what I found:

BC: Dec/Jan (R1T Adventure + R1T LE), 1H 2023 (R1S LE)
Quebec: 1H 2023 (R1S LE)
Ontario: 2H 2023 (R1S LE)
Alberta: 2H 2023 (R1T LE)

For the BC Dec/Jan windows - there were 3 people on the forum that posted they have that window. Both for R1T Adventure and LE trims (no R1S). So we should be able to see some progress in BC by end of 2022 (or Jan 2023) if any of those members take delivery. I didn't see any dates posted for any other provinces (MB, SK, etc), sorry if I missed someone's posts.

I’m 2H 2023 for max pack R1T adventure, in MB.
That is unchanged since December.

On CA plates I take it? Temporary one or permanent?

It's on permanent plates, been here for a couple of weeks I think lots of buzz on the EV/Tesla owners clubs of Alberta as it's been seen driving around town a bit. Must have family here or something.

If they’re black and white and start with a b or c they’re temp plates. The newer temp plates look more like the permanent ones. . Permanent ones are blue on white with “California“ in red. Unless they’re black plates. or other specialty ones…

Probably an expat home for a visit as you say. Would be a fun drive up!

Yeah it was a permanent Cali plate. The local EV association is going nuts about it. Asking someone to go put a note on the windshield to have a group show off LOL. I imagine the owner has been mobbed with questions up here

I wonder if they got the same treatment I got from CBSA when the guy was interested in my car once.

typical customs monotone: “do you have any alcohol/tobacco/guns/bombs?” Into “is this your car? Had any work done to it? How do you like it? How’s the mileage? I’ve been looking at getting one…” without changing tone. It shook me up ?

Funnily enough, a lot of the Oil execs drive Teslas here, the grunts not so much. Even one of the high ranking politicians drives one with a license plate "COALPWD" lol. I've also already seen 5-6 F150 Lightinings, one had a support Oil and Gas sticker on it haha.

Having seen your Mr Kenney try to put gas in a truck….. plugging in is surely much simpler ?

They need to get an R1T to scan for their mats. And hope someone can get them one. I’ve been hoping to get a set of their mats for r1T. Please let me know if you can help them get a scan of your vehicle
