Oops not ocean coast. I changed that to get the delivery earlier. Changed signature.
Darn, I kept OC because we really like it. Frankly I think we would be happy with Black Mountain. Maybe I should just switch to that. Congrats agains!

I've seen an Ocean Coast in a R1T and it looks really sharp. I'd keep it except it wanted it sooner rather than later. Rivian told me that it would be months if I had ocean coast.

I tried to switch to OC several times, but it was always delayed. So BM it is.

I have 8 steps and a VIN without underbody shield, but no word on a delivery date yet.
Ditto ... but only been 8 days since I got the call from my guide. VIN in the 900's. Got my wall charger yesterday. My R1S is without underbody shield.

Called Customer service about my first mile. The agent said she has seen OC R1s come off the line!

She did not know about underbody shield but folks here posted below (thank you) that they are locked.

Woo hoo.

Gonna set up a macro to ask people if they've discussed FE. Because I'm not letting myself badger CS about it every day...

Perhaps its absence from the discourse indicates how few have ordered it? If so, I may be waiting a while.

Good luck dude; you and I are in pretty similar boats, with me a handful of months behind you.

I would think given how early you ordered, they would want to push it out.

And it looks like they are giving adventure the Launch badging, which suggests their should be a higher number with your same build.

Also, was it a hard or easy choice for you to go 21s?

On the extra noise, I am coming from a Honda crv so I imagine this is quieter. Hard to choose but I like the option for AT s. If I am driving long enough that I need a charge on the road, I am probably on a trip where I need to charge on the road anyway . . . . But I don't know : )

You were able to tell on sight alone? Impressive.

My wife wants the extra range insurance, so it was always going to be the 21s. It might have been a harder decision for me alone, but I like the look without the covers fine enough! Especially since it means she won’t complain about charging on the way to Tahoe!

Stick with what you want....mileage different is negligible for most cases
