After installing the update my vehicle seems to no longer want to connect to cell towers - not great for long holiday trips with no navigation, charger information and no streaming music (or hotspot for the kids). So much for paying for Connect+!

No, a soft reset didn't bring it back (I tried). Then tried a hard reset to send the diagnostic logs, still no luck.

Adventurous forever indeed!

...but for holiday travel, I'd prefer a bit less of a software/connectivity adventure with my software defined/AI fueled whatever the latest buzzword hype is vehicle.

It's a 2025 R1S Dual Large Gen 2 if anyone else is wondering and having similar issues. I did go through the AI chatbot which eventually guided me to a service appointment. *sigh*

Mine has been doing this intermittently since before the latest updates, prob since mid summer, usually it sorts itself out.

Re the latest .46 update, used apple music for a good hour during my first drive without issue. Drive back couple days later, no Internet message trying to use apple, and no sat image option for the map. Was still the same yesterday running errands around town. I do have 3 or more bars showing for LTE upper right, so it thinks it has a signal at least.

That last working drive was to my cabin which has crap signal for ATT, seems I have the most issues when I go up there and then come back.

Was planning to do a reset and turn off WiFi if it didn't sort itself by next drive. I agree it's annoying when you can't use the connectivity you pay for in a vehicle so intentionally streaming dependant.
