Anyone Release/Reject a RC PDM Max with All-Terrain Pkg recently?

So after waiting since 10/2021, today I pulled the trigger on a Red Canyon Performance Dual Motor Max. ALMOST exactly what I had been waiting for all this time. If all goes well I will finally move from a more-or-less lurker on this fine forum to an actual owner.
As a price-locked early order, the All-Terrain pkg was never available to me to add to my original configuration. So I had pretty much given up on reasonable (SLIGHTLY more affordable) ways to get the underbody shield, the All-Terrain wheels and tires, AND a complete spare tire setup. The Max pack was important to me (yeah, I know). But my specific use case should allow its range to almost exactly cover my twice monthly drives to our vacation condo, and back, without recharge. At the condo it will be parked in the parking lot not next to our unit, so no easy way to charge. What I finally caved on was the Power Tonneau Cover… which was important to me (work truck). Just no real belief that the PTC will ever (ever?) be made available as part of an ORIGINAL, PRICE-PROTECTED configuration. For those still holding out… I hope it happens for you., and I suppose I can always sell a kidney (what! another one?) to buy the PTC from the shop… some day (?).

So the larger point of this post is that I have watched the R1 Shop like a hawk for a VERY long time, and this is the VERY FIRST TIME I have ever seen a Max in the shop with an All-Terrain pkg.. A very few have trickled thru with an Underbody Shield AND 20” wheels… but never also with the spare tire.
So this appears to be a VERY specific configuration that just happened to be in my desired exterior/interior colors! Seems like maybe it was “once a dream of someone's that will now belong to me” :-(

So am I picking up someone’s recent reject or return? If so… PLEASE let me know what was wrong with this unit… or at least what I need to check for… or did you just decide to go for the CyberTruck ;-)

Congratulations.

They can't sell returns as new.

It's possible it was a reject but more likely the buyer either cancelled or it was an extra unit from the last production run. Check it carefully... I would do that anyway regardless.... And reject if it doesn't meet expectations. Most likely it will be fine ?

Most car makers produce a certain amount of a config when they do a production run even if those units aren't sold. They do this because it is more cost effective.

So if they had one or two unallocated from the production run those units end up in the shop.
