App not showing correct charging info, anyone else?

Hey, don't knock trucks with older software! There's a few out in the -Stans that are working just fine (now).

Same Phone and software setup; different versions of app and truck. Pixel 5, Android 14, Rivian App 3.4.0, '24 R1T on 2025.26.01

Mine has been showing charging rate at 0.0kW for the last few days. Time left in charge, and percentage are reflected correctly, but the rate is off. Restarted the truck, phone, and charger with no change.

As a side question, does your PAAK work? Mine rarely if ever works (to the point I've turned it off and use the fob only), and I've been considering upgrading phones for other reasons anyway. Just curious if another P5 owner has a working PAAK setup.

My PAAK has always worked but sometimes I have had to take my iPhone out of my back pocket. And don’t call me Capt lead bottom.

PaaK rarely worked for me with that phone. I've since upgraded to Pixel 9 and it works every time. Though I'm still a daily fob user, so I only notice it working when I get to work and realize I forgot my fob.

This is happening to me and others, per Reddit /rivian sub. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It was working until last night

I plugged mine in for a couple hours around 4am this morning and noticed that my app said it was "Charging at 0.0kW". I force-stopped the app, cleared cache, no difference. When I selected "Rivian Wall Charger" it did show the correct amount of power was being output.

I didn't really think any more of it and the vehicle charged normally without issue. The charge percentage went up (on the app), just the charging rate stayed at 0.


Edit: Pixel 8 Pro, Android 16, Truck software 2025.26.01, app version 3.4.0. All devices on home WiFi with good signal.

Same problem with an app update last night.

My app was missing most of the usual details today charging L2 at work.
I assumed connectivity issues. Although maybe something else.
