Hey all. I am currently on a road trip through California and I have not been able to keep up with my charging status on the app. It seems to be stuck thinking I am still charging at home from 2 days ago.

So curious if it is just me or some more general bug in the latest version of the IOS app.

it's potentially due to poor connectivity, if your phone shows 5g and not 5gultra, and only 2 bars, it's very possible you actually have not enough bandwidth to send the information. Phone towers got broken (especially verizon) when they activated C band of the 5guw radio, this results in your phone appearing to have signal, but not enough to actually transmit data (you can run a speedtest to check) if it's under 5mb then you're having connectivity issues with the cellular carrier.

I’ve never charged other than home. But the app charging history doesn’t match what is shown on the truck display after a charge. Also the charge time on the app always shows when you unplug not when charging is completed. So a 65 kWh charge shows 17 hours for example.

Yes I understand that. I was on the road DCFC and it was showing the screen above for days.

It does appear to have been resolved sometime this morning though.

Same Phone and software setup; different versions of app and truck. Pixel 5, Android 14, Rivian App 3.4.0, '24 R1T on 2025.26.01

Mine has been showing charging rate at 0.0kW for the last few days. Time left in charge, and percentage are reflected correctly, but the rate is off. Restarted the truck, phone, and charger with no change.

As a side question, does your PAAK work? Mine rarely if ever works (to the point I've turned it off and use the fob only), and I've been considering upgrading phones for other reasons anyway. Just curious if another P5 owner has a working PAAK setup.

PaaK rarely worked for me with that phone. I've since upgraded to Pixel 9 and it works every time. Though I'm still a daily fob user, so I only notice it working when I get to work and realize I forgot my fob.

I now have a gen 2 S and the problem is the same as for my T. Here are the two screens not showing the same charging information for my charge at home on August 28. 63.5 KWh on one and 69 KWh on the other. And the charging times don’t match because I unplugged after the charging was finished, which seems useless information to me.

Holy crap, that post was from '23. I was wondering why you had such old versions of truck/app software.

Thanks for the input and the reply!
